‘Die After Sunset’, an action-packed roguelite shooter developed by Playstark and published by PQube, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Steam later this year. Pre-orders for physical versions on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are now available, allowing players to secure their copies ahead of the game’s launch.
Set in the year 2120, players are tasked with defending Earth against an alien race called the Murkors. These invaders possess immense power and have taken over the world, threatening humanity’s existence. As a defender, players must level up, travel through time, and confront the Murkor hordes in key strategic battle points before the sun sets.
Players can choose from three unique characters, each with their own play style, custom-made firearm, secondary attack, offensive light move, and specialized dodge. The game features five expansive levels, each culminating in a battle against a colossal Murkor boss.
‘Die After Sunset’ offers a fresh experience with each run, as 19 in-game missions are randomly generated every time a new run is started. Players can experiment with thousands of item combinations, discover what works best for them, and collect the in-game currency called ‘Mukus’ to upgrade their stats, weapons, and items.
In addition to the engaging gameplay, the game’s visuals showcase an array of colorful and vivid environments, accompanied by a fitting soundtrack. With its combination of unique roguelite mechanics, diverse character choices, and challenging missions, ‘Die After Sunset’ promises to deliver an exciting gaming experience for fans of action-packed shooters.
