Tom Clancy’s The Division Franchise Marks 7-Year Anniversary with ‘Division Day’ Updates

Ubisoft recently marked the seven-year anniversary of Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise with a Division Day livestream, sharing updates and details for three games within the universe: The Division 2, The Division Heartland, and The Division Resurgence.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Year 5 – New Seasons, Modes, and Content

The Division 2’s Year 5 is set to launch in June, with players having the opportunity to participate in a public PC test server for the new Descent mode beginning April 21st. The Resident Evil Leon Kennedy RPD outfit will be available to all players who log in between April 25th and May 9th. Year 5 will introduce four content-packed seasons:

  1. Season 1: Broken Wings (June) – A new twist on Manhunts, the introduction of Descent (a rogue-lite mode), and the continuation of a multi-season Castle Settlement rebuild. The premium pass for this season includes a Splinter Cell-themed outfit.
  2. Season 2: Puppeteers – Agents will face the Cleaners in a challenging new Incursion at the Meret Estate.
  3. Season 3: Vanguard – Players will return to New York City for the holidays, uncovering new revelations about Aaron Keener and his Rogues.
  4. Season 4: Black Diamond – Features new story DLC with additional zones, main missions, and an entirely new endgame structure.

Each season will continue to introduce new Manhunts, Leagues, and Events. Access to all new content, except for Descent mode, requires ownership of the Warlords of New York expansion.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland: Gameplay Details, Shared Base of Operations, and Future Tests

Heartland takes players to Silver Creek, a once-pleasant town in the American Midwest, now ravaged by the Dollar Flu. In a first for The Division, Silver Creek’s Base of Operations is a shared space where players can socialize, form groups, customize characters, and prepare for their next Operation. The Division Resurgence: Pre-Register for Summer Tests on iOS and Android

The next testing phase for The Division Resurgence is scheduled for this summer in select territories. iOS-powered devices will be able to enjoy The Division Resurgence alongside Android users for the first time. New Projects and Stories Inspired by The Division Universe

The Division Day stream also revealed upcoming projects inspired by The Division’s world, including:

  1. Collectible action figures of Caleb Dunne and Brian Johnson, featured in The Division 2’s original announcement, to be released later this year.
  2. A webtoon launching next year that follows a teacher in Houston, Texas, as they make unlikely allies and encounter new factions amidst the Dollar Flu outbreak.
