Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that the first ever GUNDAM EVOLUTION Showdown will take place at 12:00 p.m. PDT on September 24, 2022. To celebrate the PC version’s launch, fans can tune in and watch the action live via Twitch and YouTube as 12 content creators — including Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL” White — fight for victory in the franchise’s first-ever free-to-play hero shooter.
Over the next several days, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. will continue to reveal the remaining eleven content creators who will participate in this inaugural GUNDAM EVOLUTION Showdown. Fans can follow @GEvoEsports (https://twitter.com/GEvoEsports) for live updates and reveals in the lead-up to the event. The stream will be available at twitch.tv/gundamevolution and youtube.com/GUNDAMEVOLUTION_OFFICIAL. Ten fans will have the opportunity to win a GUNDAM EVOLUTION supply pod by participating in either of the livestreams’ chats.
GUNDAM EVOLUTION is a free-to-play team-based first-person shooter featuring 6v6 PvP combat with playable mobile suits from across the Gundam multiverse. The game will offer three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction. The title presents a unique set of challenges that require teams to craft and execute formidable offensive and defensive strategies to emerge victorious.
GUNDAM EVOLUTION will release for PC on September 21st, and is coming to PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on November 30th. Respective regional launch dates (in local time), as well as supported regions, can be found below:
