Train Life: A Railway Simulator has arrived on the Nintendo Switch, giving players the opportunity to become an experienced train driver and manage their own railway company on the go. Developed by NACON and Simteract, Train Life: A Railway Simulator offers a fun and authentic experience for train enthusiasts.
The game features faithfully reproduced iconic trains, such as the ICE 3, ICE 4, and NEWAG Griffin, as well as the ability to create and customize your own trains, from their outer appearance to the cab interior. Players can hire conductors, choose contracts, build their network, and maintain their locomotives to prevent breakdowns and emergency repairs.
With 10,000 kilometers of track through Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and the Alps region, players can travel through towns and countryside, visiting a range of true-to-life stations, such as Berlin Central Station and Zurich Main Station. While driving, players must follow railway signage, adapt to switches, and manage speed, track changes, braking distances, station arrivals, and the opening and closing of doors.
The game also features unexpected situations, such as a tree on the line, snow build-up on the tracks, or another train on your track, requiring players to adapt their driving to weather conditions and the time of day to prevent accidents day and night, through downpours and blizzards.
