The world has a defending champion of virtual farming: Publisher and developer GIANTS Software announces Trelleborg as the winner of the Farming Simulator League World Championship. Eight teams competed for a prize pool consisting of 100,000 Euros on Sunday, 5th December, which concluded season three of the Farming Simulator League (FSL).
The setup for the finals already promised a nail-biting finale: Trelleborg was the title contender of the season – with two newcomers, Valtra and Corteva Agriscience, close to their backs.
To Trelleborg’s advantage, Corteva Agriscience and Valtra met directly in the first match. A surprise was provided by the wild card team LSA E-Sports, which made it to the final match without a sponsor and as another new team in the FSL. In the decisive match, Trelleborg prevailed after three rounds of victories and can now call itself World Champion.
