It’s been 12 years since the neon-drenched events of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and only the cybercommando children of Rex Power Colt can win Vietnam War 4. Where their father fought evil soldiers and hulking Blood Dragons in a first-person shooter, however, they’re taking a different approach, waging battle while pulling off sick stunts with a motorbike – as well as with a BMX, an eight-wheeled tank, a minecart, a jetpack, a turbo flip R/C car, a grappling hook, and their own cyber-enhanced legs.
Combining the hyperstylized attitude and shooting of Blood Dragon with the demanding, physics-based motocross platforming of Trials and a soundtrack by Power Glove, Trials of the Blood Dragon creates something wholly unique, putting Colt’s twin son and daughter through a 30-mission storyline in which they’ll blast their way through Vietnam, Miami, Japan, a lost temple, outer space, and even Hell.
Featuring a soundtrack by Power Glove, Trials of the Blood Dragon also gives players a chance to test their best times against other players with online leaderboards. Best of all, Trials of the Blood Dragon is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC for $14.99. To find out more, visit the official site at www.trialsoftheblooddragon.com.
