With Halloween just around the corner, a creepy chill has befallen the city of Hypatia, and Timefire VR invites you to join in on all the monstrous fun! From October 23 to 31, the free-to-play social VR game that thrives on the imagination of its residents celebrates the eeriest time of year with a spooktacular Halloween event update.
Hunt for ghosts, paint pumpkins, bust out your best costumes and, of course, collect tasty treats during one of the frighteningly fun activities planned:
- Trick-or-Treating: From October 23 to 31, seek out the NPCs throughout the city and receive free candy for your troubles. Find all the NPCs in a level, collect their candy, and turn your treats over to Candyman for an experience bonus! The more levels you complete, the more experience you get!
- Ghost Hunting: On October 31, the spirits of the dead will pay a visit to Hypatia — get photo evidence by taking pictures of all the invisible ghosts you can find in the forests around Lake Kapow. Turn your photos in to the Photo Museum for some wickedly wild prizes, including the new limited-time ghost costume!
- Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Head to Lake Kapow between October 23 and 31, grab a pumpkin, and paint your spookiest jack-o’-lantern for a chance to win coins! Winners will be announced on October 31, so let your creativity run wild!
- The Spooky Shooting Gallery: Head over to Kapow Lake from October 29 to 31 to hunt some creepy critters! You and up to two other players are tasked with knocking down the four different types of targets that emerge from the lake with your trusty pop-gun or dazzling fireworks. Clearing all of one type of target in a round will snag you an exclusive Gargoyle avatar set piece!
Of course, a Halloween party wouldn’t be complete without costumes. In addition to the ghost costume and Gargoyle avatar set, starting on October 23, players can acquire the Coffin avatar part, unlocked through levelling or purchasable in the shop. And to amp up the excitement, during the Halloween event, you can purchase the Hypatia – Turbo Witch DLC, which comes with two Turbo Witch avatar skins, coins, and an assortment of Halloween themed goodies!
