Feral Interactive today announced that Tropico, the strategic island city builder and humorous dictator sim, will be released on iPhone on April 30th. Originally published by Kalypso for Windows PC, and brought to iOS by Feral Interactive, the game was previously released on iPad only.
Fully optimised for iPhone, Tropico features intuitive touch controls and an easy-to-navigate user interface that make it smooth and simple for players to lead this small but proud island nation into a glorious future one tap at a time.
Just as for the iPad, Tropico on iPhone will be the full experience, with a UI tailored specifically for the device. Like the iPad version, it will use the latest version of Apple’s Metal API, which offers improved performance, enhanced graphics, and reduced battery usage.
Tropico for iPhone will be available from the App Store for $11.99 / £11.99 / 12,99€. It will be a universal app, meaning that players who have previously purchased the game on iPad will be able to install it on their iPhone at no additional cost, and transfer their save file.
Tropico will run on any iPhone from late 2015 onwards with iOS 12 or later. 3GB of free space will be required to install the game. The full list of supported iPhones is below:
