Untapped.gg Finalizes Partnership Deal with Good Luck Games

Storybook Brawl community to benefit from Untapped.gg’s first-class statistics and analysis products.

Untapped.gg, a leading gaming, and esports analytics firm and the company behind HSReplay.net, today announced their partnership with Good Luck Games, the developers of Storybook Brawl.

Untapped.gg has a long history of creating some of the most popular analytics tools for games such as Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering. To date the company has several third-party applications which track game data and present gamers with personal stats to improve their game, as well as insights about the meta which power the ecosystem of content around the game.

Storybook Brawl is a fairytale-inspired auto battler, a genre popularized by titles such as Hearthstone Battlegrounds from Blizzard and Teamfight Tactics from Riot Games. The game is developed by Good Luck Games, whose founders are made up of alumni from Blizzard and Wizards of the Coast. Storybook Brawl is currently available to play for free on Steam, with mobile and tablet versions coming soon. Though currently in early pre-release, the game has already amassed thousands of Very Positive reviews on Steam.

Initially, the partnership will focus on providing integrated Twitch overlays to aid viewers in learning and appreciating the complexity of the game, while assisting in cross-promoting Storybook Brawl to Untapped’s impressive user base of trading card game players. Future services, based on their highly successful track record with Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering Arena, may include personal stats tracking and metagame analysis while providing detailed performance metrics to help players improve. The partnership between Untapped.gg and Good Luck Games is unique because of the seamless flow of features between the in-game experience and community website.
To celebrate this partnership, Good Luck Games is offering players three free heroes in Storybook Brawl by redeeming the code STORYBOOK-UNTAPPED in-game by the end of March.

“We’re so addicted to playing Storybook Brawl,” commented Andrew Wilson, CEO of Untapped.gg. “It’s such a fun game, and we’re delighted that this partnership is going to make it possible for the players to benefit from these kinds of community resources while the game is still in Early Access.”

He added, “This partnership is an amazing opportunity for an indie game to come to market with the rich ecosystem of analytics and stat content that players have come to expect from AAA titles. These stats and metrics are the raw material that powers a rich content ecosystem around the game.”

Good Luck Games CEO, Matt Place said, “Having come from Activision Blizzard and Hasbro, we’ve seen first-hand the budget, time, and magnitude of work it takes to bootstrap a rich, thriving community. We’re ecstatic to be working with such a great partner to be able to offer this type of experience to our players so early in the game’s development.”
