Developed by Skybound partner Mega Cat Studios, Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood is now available globally on Steam Early Access for PC at $4.99 / €4.99 / £4.49. Skybound and Mega Cat plan to deliver additional content and updates post-launch throughout the summer.
The game’s premise is based on the events of the movie, in which Dracula tasks players with fulfilling his every wish for the rest of his immortal life. Players are rewarded with immortality, mystic powers, and a high-fiber diet consisting mainly of insects. Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood is a single-player adventure that combines one-touch gameplay with frenetic, room-based action, offering a new roguelite experience. The game features unique stages, numerous enemies, diabolical bosses, and an array of weapons suitable for a bug-powered bloody rampage.

Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood incorporates the film universe’s storyline into its gameplay, taking inspiration from extraction shooter games and innovating on the familiar roguelite formula. Simple controls enable players to navigate rooms filled with frenetic action, while environmental objects and collectibles create new split-decision moments as they choose their path through hordes of enemies. The game also reflects Dracula’s constant and humorous fetch quest demands from the movie’s storyline.
