Winterland Update Has Fallen Into T3 Arena

XD Inc’s mobile hero shooter T3 Arena has just received a series of huge updates that add not only the highly anticipated ranked mode and hero wishlist but winter has also arrived to add some holiday cheer.

Over the last few months, T3 Arena has received new characters, game modes, and more. Now available as part of the game’s winter update, players that dive into T3 can get into the holiday spirit with a new Emmental map and a winter mode for all other maps. Emmental is inspired by the Swiss Alps and will provide players with a wide and expansive map to explore. Heroes will make their way through cozy wooden cottages, massive pine trees, and even a cheese factory. Don’t forget to dress up in your holiday best because this update also adds some lovely winter skins. Players can also look forward to a new Christmas UI, events, and theme songs to jam out to.

T3 is also preparing for the arrival of Season 4, but before that arrives, there’s a problem that is solved in the “HEAT It Up.” The event will arrive on December 15th, as players will find out that T3 Arena’s power grid has been taken out. Players must team up to bring energy back to town. Giving a player a life after every match will contribute to the Global HEAT meter. As the meter increases, it will unlock event rewards for everyone, including the exclusive event item, Frame of Heat.

T3 recently added the highly anticipated ranked mode and hero wishlist to the game. Ranked mode offers three game modes: Control, Payload Escort, and Clash. In order to participate in Ranked, players must have played and gained experience with at least nine heroes. They will also need to have unlocked 1500 trophies to qualify. Players who wish to compete alone can join a solo queue, while pre-made three-man teams will only be matched with other pre-made teams.

When it comes to tier matchmaking, only a player’s Ranked Tier will be the deciding factor. Trophies and glory labels won’t be considered when being matched against opponents. Additionally, in order to help make Ranked matches more strategic and competitive, players will always pick their heroes after the map has been chosen.
