Famous Feline Joins Engaged Farming Simulation Community.
As part of the in-game event, “Nala’s Perfect Getaway,” players are invited to complete a quest to prepare the farm for Nala. Once gamers advance to level 18, they can transform Luna, FarmVille 3’s resident cat, into Nala, the celebrity feline, for one year. Nala can do everything Luna can, like harvesting daisies for crafting, plus perform some of her favorite activities from real life, such as leaping into a cardboard box. Nala even comes with a decorating kit for her virtual home, which is inspired by her favorite hideouts in real life.
Nala’s story began in a pet shelter in California a decade ago when she was adopted by her owner, Varisiri Methachittiphan. Now, with more than 4.3 million followers, she’s wildly popular on social media with a world record for most Instagram followers for a cat.
FarmVille 3 is available as a free downloadable game on the App Store and Google Play, as well as on macOS.
