Kabam’s popular mobile fighter MARVEL Contest of Champions is celebrating its 8th Anniversary this month with a new “Fight the Multiverse” trailer for Summoners.
This new trailer spotlights some of the over 230 MARVEL characters that have been released as Champions over the years, demonstrating the game’s endless multiverse of possibilities with Champions from worlds both familiar and entirely unique. Champions introduced in the game throughout 2022 have included Toad, Sauron, Captain America (Sam Wilson), Misty Knight, Captain Britain (Betsy Braddock), Omega Sentinel, Rintrah, Wong, Wiccan, Hulkling, Black Cat, Scorpion, Gorr the God Butcher, Valkyrie, Galan, Titania, Iron Man (Infamous), Spider-Man (Sorcerer Supreme), Spot, Shuri, Attuma, Mantis, and the fan-voted ‘Summoner’s Choice’ winner Quicksilver.
The player community can celebrate in a number of ways by logging in daily to collect special rewards from the Anniversary Calendar, battle in Special Arenas for Crystal Shards, and more. Players will also receive an in-game message with an 8th Anniversary Profile Picture and a new Profile Title tied to the age of their account. The Anniversary event runs December 10th – 17th, 2022!
In addition, The Contest will see MANTIS arrive in game on December 15th as the latest Champion, plus Rocket’s Holiday Scraptacular now through January 11th, 2023 The Banquet event, and more.
