Humble Games and Summerfall Studios recently concluded their live-streamed musical event, “Myth and Music: An Evening with Stray Gods,” for their upcoming game Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. During the event, the team announced the game’s planned release date for PC on August 3. Fans were also presented with a new trailer, which can be viewed here, and received insight into the development process from voice director and cast member Troy Baker, composer Austin Wintory, and creative director David Gaider. Additionally, live song performances from the game were showcased.
New characters and their respective voice actors were also introduced, including Janina Gavankar as Freddie, Khary Payton as Pan, Ashley Johnson as Calliope, Felicia Day as Athena, Abubakar Salim as Eros, Rahul Kohli as Minotaur, Allegra Clark as Hecate, Merle Dandridge as Aphrodite, Erika Ishii as Hermes, Lauren ‘Lolo’ Spencer as Venus, Anjali Bhimani as Medusa, Kimberly Brooks as Oracle, and Anthony Rapp as Orpheus.
Furthermore, the team revealed that Stray Gods will participate in LudoNarraCon on Steam. The game will offer playable content for the first time during the digital convention from May 4th to 8th. Fans are encouraged to try the game and get a preview of what they can expect when it launches later this year.
