SQUARE ENIX JOINS THE RED CROSS TO LAUNCH FINAL FANTASY XIV: STORMBLOOD BLOOD DRIVE TOUR

E3 Community Urged to Donate Blood for the Greater Good.

Calling all real-life Warriors of Light! Square Enix® is joining forces with the American Red Cross to launch the Stormblood™ blood drive during the Electronic Entertainment Expo taking place June 13 to 15.

In conjunction with the debut of Square Enix’s second expansion of FINAL FANTASY® XIV ONLINE, donors will have the opportunity to donate blood in the newly-themed FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormbloodbloodmobile. Additional blood drive opportunities will be available after E3 as the Stormbloodbloodmobile visits several college campuses throughout Southern California.

The Red Cross urges those who have never given blood before – as well as those who haven’t given recently – to make an appointment to give blood now and help sustain a sufficient community blood supply this summer.

“Whether it’s in a game or in real life, everyone needs a helping hand. That’s why we’ve joined forces with the Red Cross and their important mission to help save lives,” said Morten Haugaard, marketing director, MMO, Square Enix. “The FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood blood drive will visit college campuses throughout Southern California to spotlight their vital work.”
