Candy Crush Saga celebrates 5000th level milestone with new in-game event Celebratory milestone levels will be available from 6th July to 11th July

King, a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world, today announced the upcoming release of Candy Crush Saga’s 5000^th level – a special milestone that showcases the ongoing popularity of the game, which launched over seven years ago and is enjoyed by hundreds of millions of players around the world.

“We’ve been truly humbled by the success of Candy Crush Saga, and the passion and enthusiasm we’ve seen from our community around the world,” said Andreas Olofsson, Executive Producer of Candy Crush Saga. “To reach 5000 levels is a rare accomplishment for a mobile game, which is why we’re giving all our dedicated players the opportunity to replay the specially-designed millennial levels, and join in the celebration together.”

From 6^th July, players above level 10 will be transported to a Garden Party-themed world hosted by the mischievous, adventure-loving Tiffi, where one historic millennial level will be released every day, leading up to the launch of level 5000 on 10^th July. As players progress through each level, they will receive exclusive rewards including 30 minutes of Colour Bombs, Striped Wrapped Candies, Swedish Fish, and more.

Level 1000 was released in 2015 and a new millennial level has been released every year since. Each of the millennial levels will become available for 24 hours on the following dates:

• July 6th – Level 1000
• July 7th – Level 2000
• July 8th – Level 3000
• July 9th – Level 4000
• July 10th – Level 5000

Since its launch in 2012, the Candy Crush franchise has attracted millions of players from around the world and is a global phenomenon. Candy Crush has been played on all seven continents (including Antarctica!) and has become one of the most popular mobile game franchises in the world, with two of the top-10 highest grossing titles in the U.S. mobile app stores for 5 years running.

The exclusive in-game event will be available to all players above level 10 with a minimum app version of 1.152 on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Windows App Store and Amazon Appstore.
