exciting Descenders news today, as we’re putting out yet another free update for the game!
The Bike Parks Update adds a new section for hand-crafted bike parks to Descenders. Previously, Descenders has only featured procedurally-generated maps — however after we added mod support in October, it became clear that players loved the crafted bike parks that modders were creating.
For this reason, we’ll now be bringing brand new, hand-crafted bike parks to the game on a monthly basis, starting with a selection from Descenders art director Roan Albers, and bike park designer Spe. In particular, the fully kitted out Stoker Bike Park is now available to ride with friends, complete with numerous new trails to explore.
To celebrate this new content, Descenders is now available to play for free all weekend! We’ve teamed up with Valve to bring the game to Steam for free until March 2 (with a cheeky 40% discount, in case any players want to continue playing after the weekend is through.)
