Acer is gearing up to launch its latest Swift series of thin-and-light laptops featuring the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, starting in Q3 2024. These laptops are stacked with an impressive number of CPU and GPU cores and come equipped with an ultra-efficient NPU. The AMD processors are set to deliver revolutionary speed and performance in Acer’s new AI PC offerings. Users can look forward to a free update to Copilot+ PC experiences once available.

Performance and Innovation
The new AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, based on the high-performance Zen 5 architecture, feature up to 12 high-performance cores and 24 threads. These processors are set to deliver next-level performance for ultrathin laptops. Leveraging AMD XDNA 2 technology, the new processors provide up to 50+ NPU TOPS of AI processing performance. This allows users to deploy AI capabilities locally and run generative AI applications, large language models, and AI assistants directly on the upcoming Acer Swift laptops. This setup maximizes creativity and productivity without the need for internet access and without sacrificing battery life.

The AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors are designed for lower power consumption while maintaining excellent battery life, even during heavy computing workloads. With up to 36 MB cache for accelerated productivity and responsiveness, these processors ensure efficient performance. Additionally, built-in AMD Radeon 800M graphics provide high-resolution display support and accelerated encoding with or without a discrete graphic card.
