Labor Day Weekend Extravaganza Kicks Off Badge Sales Today at 12 pm PDT
The first wave of exhibitors and guests for PAX West 2024 has been revealed, coinciding with the launch of badge sales at 12 pm PDT. Hosted by ReedPop and Penny Arcade, this event will take place at the Seattle Convention Center from Friday, Aug. 30, through Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, marking PAX’s 20th anniversary.
Major Players on the Expo Floor
The expo floor promises a star-studded lineup with industry giants like Capcom, The Pokémon Company, Larian Studios, Innersloth, and Atari. PAX veterans The Behemoth will also make an appearance. Additional exhibitors, ranging from top-tier publishers to indie developers, will be announced in the coming months.
Main Stage Highlights
PAX West’s main stage will host programming from Magic the Gathering and feature FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE voice actors Briana White (Aerith), Britt Baron (Tifa), and Suzie Yeung (Yuffie). John Robertson’s The Dark Room, a comedic live-action video game experience, will make its debut at PAX West.
Celebrating 20 Years of PAX
Commemorate two decades of PAX with special programming, including birthday panels and exclusive giveaways. The celebration will feature a 20th Anniversary Concert with performances by the Triforce Quartet and OneUps, along with other guests to be announced soon. A complete event schedule will be available in the coming weeks.
Competitive Gaming and Esports
Experience four days of live competitive gaming, including the Stream Stars competition, which kicks off PAX Arena’s schedule filled with live esports events offering cash prizes. One of PAX’s oldest traditions, the Omegathon, will see 16 attendees compete in various games, culminating in a mystery game for the grand finals.

PAX West badges go on sale today at 12 pm PDT. A 4-day badge is available for $250, with single-day badges priced at $66 for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Single-day badge bundles are offered at a discounted rate until Thursday, June 20, or while supplies last: three badges for $186, four badges for $238, and six badges for $337.
