Destiny 2 Kicks Off Echoes Episode and Teases Year 10
Bungie just dropped a duo of trailers, hyping up Year 10 of Destiny and the launch of Destiny 2: Echoes, set to drop tomorrow, June 11. With the Light and Darkness saga wrapping up, players can expect three epic Episodes this year. Echoes is first up, followed by Revenant with a spooky Fallen storyline, and then Heresy, diving into the Hive lore on the iconic Dreadnaught. Post-Final Shape, Bungie is gearing up for Codename: Frontiers, but that’s a tale for another day.
Dive into Echoes
After Guardians took down the Witness and stopped its Final Shape, the system got scattered with mysterious power objects known as Echoes. This Episode kicks off with a deep dive into these Echoes, leading players to Nessus where the planet’s getting a crazy makeover. Teaming up with Failsafe, Saint-14, and Osiris, Guardians will face off against the ever-growing Vex and a new mysterious threat.
Episode Structure and Goodies
Each Episode is split into three Acts, about six weeks each. Echoes Act 2 is dropping on July 16, and Act 3 hits on August 27. Expect fresh activities and missions, starting with the three-player Breach Executable in Act 1. Echoes is also rolling out new weapons, armor, and extra unlocks for the Seasonal Artifact and Season Pass.

World First Champions and Raid Rewards
Guardians worldwide threw down to be the first to beat the Witness in the final showdown. Shoutout to Team Parabellum, the first fireteam to conquer the raid on Contest Mode, earning the World First title belts and custom fireteam art by Swedish 3D artist Ohlac.
If you finish the raid before June 25 at 9:59 AM PT, you can snag the exclusive Salvation’s Edge Raid Jacket and Sling Bag from Chrome Industries via Bungie Rewards. Beat the raid by October 8 at 9:59 AM PT to grab the Raid Pin. Complete all the challenges to earn the Iconoclast title, and if you do that before December 31 at 9:59 AM PT, you can also get the Iconoclast Title Pin. All these goodies will be up for grabs at the Bungie Store once unlocked.
