Halo Infinite: Operation Anvil Drops Today
Suit up, Spartans! Halo Infinite’s Operation Anvil is live until July 30. Dive into the action with a fresh 20-tier Operation Pass, a brand-new game mode, Big Team Battle: Sentry Defense, and a community-forged Big Team Battle map. Plus, there’s a host of items available in The Exchange. Let’s break it down.
The Heart of Anvil
Anvil Station is where the UNSC and Arbiter’s Swords of Sanghelios tested experimental tech. This new operation channels that legacy, offering players the Sangheili-themed ASSAILER armor, a new emblem, and extra Spartan Points for The Exchange.
Unlock the New Operation Pass
From July 2-30, grind through the Operation Pass to snag the ASSAILER armor, inspired by Sangheili helmets with a horn from the Enforcer and a mouthguard from the infiltration harness. You can also score a new emblem and Spartan Points to spend in The Exchange.
If you’re looking for extra goodies, premium options for the Operation Pass are available:
- 500 credits: Makes the pass durable (won’t expire), gives bonus XP, an extra Challenge slot, and an exclusive customization item.
- 2,000 credits: Instantly unlocks all 20 tiers and includes an exclusive bonus customization item.
Both premium options also offer the Smash and Grab weapon model for the M41 SPNKr and the Rent Seeker weapon coating.
New Mode: BTB Sentry Defense
In BTB: Sentry Defense, each team has one sentry to protect while trying to destroy the enemy’s. Every team starts with 2,000 points. Damage to a sentry drops points, and hitting zero means game over. Repair Fields spawn on maps, helping to regenerate health for Spartans, vehicles, and sentries.

Command Map: Community-Crafted
Command is a new symmetrical BTB map, featuring a mix of winding roads for vehicular chaos and multi-level structures for strategic high ground control. It evokes vibes from Halo 3’s Rat’s Nest and fits seamlessly into the BTB rotation.
Waypoint Chronicle: Anvil Life
Coming soon, the Waypoint Chronicle will explore a day in the life aboard Anvil Station from the perspective of its multispecies crew. It will be available on Halo Waypoint as a PDF and an audiobook on YouTube.
Celebrate Disability Pride Month and Juneteenth
Log in to Halo Infinite this month to unlock themed rewards for Disability Pride Month and Juneteenth. Celebrate every Spartan with the Disability Pride Month armor coating, visor, and emblem. For Juneteenth, earn the 2024 emblem by logging in between June 18 and July 18.
The Exchange Gets a Refresh
The Exchange is loaded with new items. Previous items aren’t disappearing; they’re now available through Halo Infinite’s customization menus. New additions include:
