The Fight is Just Beginning: Year 6 of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Offers a Fresh Approach to Battling Enemies

Endgame Content Now Open to All Players Season 1: First Rogue Kicks Off Today with Seasons 2.0 to Follow Free Weekend June 13-17

Ubisoft just dropped some major updates for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. With the launch of Year 6, Season 1, the game is getting a serious overhaul. After the big health check from Project Resolve in Year 5, Year 6 is switching things up in a big way. The best part? You don’t need the Warlords of New York expansion to dive into the endgame content anymore. Season 1 is just the start, with each new season bringing game-changing updates to how the endgame and seasonal model works.

One Endgame For Everyone

Year 6 is leveling the playing field. Now, all Division 2 players can grind their characters up to Level 40, even if they don’t own the Warlords of New York expansion. Once you hit Level 40, the entire game opens up, including past and future content. We’re talking exclusive weapons, gear, seasonal manhunts, and game modes like The Summit, Countdown, and Paradise Lost: Incursion.

Season 1: First Rogue

This new season takes us back to Washington DC, following a battle through the streets of New York. Agents are on the hunt for the missing Agent Kelso. Aaron Keener is alive and kicking in DC, but finding him won’t be a walk in the park. His true motives? Still a mystery.

Seasons 2.0 and Seasonal Characters

Starting in Season 2, The Division 2 is rolling out a new progression system called Seasons 2.0. This system is designed to fast-track players to the endgame, offering more ways to level up and customize their gameplay. Each season introduces seasonal characters, letting you mess around with new builds, modifiers, and mechanics. These changes will shake up how you approach both your Division Agent and your enemies, keeping the gameplay fresh.

Progression is getting a boost to make sure the journey to Level 40 is rewarding for both new and veteran players. Every season will bring new gameplay modifiers, playstyles, and challenges, pushing you to rethink your strategies and builds. Weekly updates will add new activities, improve progression, and rebalance XP gain, all wrapped up in an immersive narrative.

At the end of each season, all the XP and rewards you earned will merge with your main character, and your seasonal characters will join your roster of Division Agents.

Manhunt 2.0

Seasonal manhunts are getting a revamp starting in Season 2. Say goodbye to primary targets and their lieutenants. Manhunt 2.0 introduces weekly Scouts, offering a more evenly paced story progression. These Scouts are exclusive to seasonal characters and are designed to fit seamlessly into your season progression.

A new Master difficulty level will be available for Climax Missions, providing an epic, challenging conclusion to each season that’s perfect for a squad of four players.

Player Expressions

Season 3 will bring an improved player customization experience. Look forward to new features and functionalities that let you celebrate your characters and achievements in dynamic, personalized ways.

Free Weekend Celebration

To celebrate the new updates, The Division 2 is hosting a Free Weekend from June 13 to June 17. Plus, you can snag The Division 2, including the Warlords of New York expansion, for up to 75% off.

Year 6 of The Division 2 is packed with fresh content and new ways to play. Whether you’re a seasoned agent or a newbie, there’s never been a better time to jump into the action. Get ready, Agents—your mission is just beginning.
