2017 Overwatch World Cup | Sydney Group Stage Recap

It was a perfect weekend for some mayhem as Groups C and D fought heroically last week in Sydney, Australia to determine which two teams would advance to the Overwatch World Cup playoffs. After three full days of head-to-head matches, Team Sweden and Team Australia emerged victorious and earned the right to represent their nations at BlizzCon this November.

Next up: We’re heading to the European esports heartland of Katowice, Poland, where Groups E and F—including last year’s champions, Team South Korea—will take the stage. Join us August 4–6!
