The 2024 Red Bull Kumite began its journey in mid-January with online regional qualifiers, where players competed for a chance to face the world’s elite. Eight players from five countries emerged victorious, earning their place at the in-person play-in tournament. American player Alan “Nephew” Sun secured his spot in the main event after intense matches, while Kevin “Dual Kevin” Barrios clinched the final spot through the Last Chance Qualifier.
