The Deluxe machines, which include PAC-MAN Deluxe, Class of ’81 Deluxe, and Mortal Kombat Deluxe, are now available for purchase on Arcade1Up.com and at Best Buy. The Deluxe line is designed to deliver an immersive experience that appeals to both nostalgic gamers and those new to these iconic titles.
Susan Tran, Senior Director of Brand Development for PAC-MAN at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., expressed excitement about the ongoing popularity of classic titles like PAC-MAN and Class of ’81. She believes that Arcade1Up’s new Deluxe line will continue to fuel the love for these nostalgic games, allowing players to relive their favorite arcade memories at home.
The Deluxe Edition machines boast several features that enhance their authenticity, such as a new streamlined style and a sleek, single-cabinet design reminiscent of the original arcade machines. Additionally, they come with modern upgrades like Wi-Fi for online gameplay, real-feel joystick and buttons, a faux front coin door, and a lit marquee. Select machines also include a 17″ LCD screen in a laid-back position, emulating the design of classic arcade machines. Standing at five feet tall, the Deluxe Edition machines are an ideal size for home use.
The Deluxe series kicks off with two best-selling Bandai Namco Entertainment titles: PAC-MAN Deluxe and Class of ’81 Deluxe. PAC-MAN Deluxe features 14 games, including the iconic glowing maze, PAC-DOTS, ghosts, and the yellow chomping hero, all accompanied by the familiar “waka, waka, waka” sound. Class of ’81 Deluxe offers 12 games for hours of retro entertainment.
Arcade1Up has also introduced a Mortal Kombat Deluxe arcade cabinet, which includes 14 games and four different versions of Mortal Kombat, providing fans with a variety of thrilling fighting experiences.
