Las Vegas is set to host the Evolution Championship Series (Evo), the world’s largest and most long-standing fighting game tournament, from August 4th – 6th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. For the first time ever, Evo’s showfloor will feature a roaming reporter, providing coverage of event activities and conducting interviews with competitors and fans as part of the “12 AT&T Showfloor Connections” program.

Moreover, AT&T is set to connect fans at the xArena Finals with the prestige of championship arcade sticks. Three lucky winners will receive Evo’s custom gold, silver, and bronze-plated peripherals to accompany their AT&T mobile devices.

Additionally, all AT&T customers will be eligible for a discount on Evo merchandise at the official merchandise booth inside Evo 2023.

Record-Breaking Turnout and Franchise Registrations

Evo is anticipating a staggering 81% increase in total competitors compared to the previous year. Notably, popular titles like Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear -Strive-, MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 have achieved new all-time franchise registration records.

The tournament lineup also includes Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, TEKKEN 7, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, and DRAGON BALL FighterZ. Each of these tournaments will offer a minimum prize pool of $25,000 for the first time ever, adding to the excitement and competitiveness of the event.

Expanded Activities and Vendor Presence
