Miniclip today announces an array of new features to their multi-million downloaded game, Basketball Stars. Downloaded over 35 million times and played by over 600,000 fans a day, the game is getting a big update just in time for the start of the March US college basketball tournament.
For the first time, players can take on the new ‘Crazy Hoops’ mode, an arcade-style game mode to test shooting speed under pressure. Another addition to Basketball Stars is a brand-new leaderboard for the enormously popular Dunks mini-game feature. Players can now compare their score with friends and pull off a series of acrobatic dunks to gain maximum points and unlock tons of in-game prizes to climb to the top of the global leader board.
Basketball Stars is a fast-paced real-time multiplayer basketball game that allows you take on your friends, as well as players from around the world across different game modes. Basketball Stars launched with two game modes, Shooting Race and Attacker-vs-Defender. At the end of last year, Miniclip also added a player favourite, Career Mode. This mode has a number of distinctive challenges and prizes that pushes you to your limits as players complete stages and earn medals dependant on their performance.
