Since its initial release on Steam Early Access in February 2023, BOKURA has gained traction with over 90,000 downloads. A Tale of Two Realities
BOKURA narrates the story of two adventurous boys who find themselves in a world where they perceive reality differently. One sees a lush world filled with greenery and animals, while the other sees a mechanical existence populated with robots. The sight of a dead deer triggers this change, leading them on an extraordinary journey.
In this unique collaborative adventure, players must communicate via voice chat to navigate bi-dimensional puzzles. By observing details from both players’ surroundings and interacting with artifacts in each world, they devise plans to move forward.
The game transcends the boundaries of a simple puzzle game and turns into a conversational journey, with a touching branching narrative that alters with every choice, leading to multiple endings.
