CD PROJEKT RED is rolling out more than just the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion set for September 26th and the free Update 2.0. Gamers can also tune into 89.7 Growl FM, a freshly minted radio station crafted in collaboration with the Cyberpunk 2077 community.

The studio dropped a near 45-minute documentary revealing the nuts and bolts behind the creation of 89.7 Growl FM. Interviews feature the artists flexing their skills on the station’s dark future beats. The doc also includes chit-chat with CD PROJEKT RED bigwigs managing the Growl FM competition and those wielding the final say in track selections. Among them are veteran composers P.T. Adamczyk, known for his work on Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Marcin Przybyłowicz, famous for his compositions on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077. The documentary is in English but offers subtitles in multiple languages, hosted on the official Cyberpunk 2077 YouTube channel.
Radio Waves Fueled by Community Vibes
89.7 Growl FM, voiced by Sasha Grey in her DJ Ash persona, is one of three new audio hangouts coming to Cyberpunk 2077 via Update 2.0. The station boasts 14 tracks, chosen from a jaw-dropping nearly 8000 community submissions. Yup, CD PROJEKT RED organized a competition, letting fans bring their A-game in music production to fill the Growl FM airwaves.
