Some of the other top game payouts include:
- League of Legends – DOTA 2’s biggest rival in the MOBA genre, LoL has a slightly smaller prize pot – but it’s still $2,028,000 for the winning team. The world’s best player, Faker, has career winnings of around $1 million.
- Call of Duty: Black Ops – Each time a new game is released, the competition changes, but the skillset stays the same – and the winning team of the September competition this year will take home $800,000.
- Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft – Hearthstone is the biggest competitive trading card game played currently. The prize is only $250,000, but it’s an individual win, making it a large pot for a single player.
