The update includes improved matchmaking to ensure optimal latency by connecting players with others in closer proximity. Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro owners will no longer be matched with accounts they have previously blocked, enhancing the overall matchmaking experience.
Mixed Reality Mode
Under-the-hood improvements in the 1.5 update elevate Espire 2’s technical systems. The game has been upgraded from Unreal Engine version 4.26 to 4.27, and the graphics API has been switched from OpenGL to Vulkan. As a result, Espire 2 will run more smoothly with enhanced visual fidelity across all platforms. These changes also pave the way for the upcoming Mixed Reality Mode, scheduled to be added to Espire 2 later this year.
