Introduction: Eternal Return’s Competitive Surge
Eternal Return, a dynamic anime MOBA developed by Nimble Neuron, is revving up its esports engine for the 2024 season with the announcement of the Eternal Return Challengers Series (ERCS). Following the electrifying Global Showmatch in Busan last December, the ERCS is poised to be one of the most competitive esports events in the genre.
ERCS: The Battlefield Awaits
The ERCS is set to replace the Lumia Marathon, with North America’s preliminary group stages commencing on January 13. This exciting tournament features 16 teams vying for a prize pool of $1,800 and additional in-game currency rewards. The format involves two blocks of four teams merging weekly into eight-team squad lobbies. Over the course of five games, teams will earn points based on their placements, leading up to the grand final.
The Grand Showdown
The grand finale, scheduled for February 3, promises an intense showdown with unlimited rounds, continuing until a point cap is reached. The victorious team will not only be crowned the NA series champion but will also take home a substantial $1,000 prize and 2,400 NP (in-game currency).
Tune in Live
Fans can catch all the action live on the official Eternal Return Twitch channel. The group stages will run from January 13 to January 28 every Saturday and Sunday, while the grand finale is set for February 3.
Global Participation
Eternal Return extends its competitive reach beyond North America, with upcoming Challengers Series in South America and Europe. Registrations are open from January 31 to February 6, with the SA and EU main events scheduled for February 10 and 11, respectively.
