For Honor’s Year 7 Season 3 just went from mysterious to macabre. Codenamed “Deceit,” the season twists into darker territories as the Ghost Festival’s offerings, which first made their debut on September 14, get exposed as a deadly snare. The infamous White Bone Spirit claims the souls of the warriors, pulling them into her theatre of malevolent illusions. But fear not, the Monkey King Wukong isn’t having any of it; he’s primed to shatter the illusion and free the trapped souls.

The Showdown with White Bone Spirit

Mark your calendars, gamers. From October 26 until November 16, players can dive into a brand-new, narrative-focused PvE game mode. The setting? A theatre inspired by Chinese opera. The gameplay includes four distinct theatrical scenarios, each decked out in unique set designs, and pumped up with specialized lighting and visual effects. The grand finale pits players against the White Bone Spirit herself.

Adding more flavor to the mix, For Honor is rolling out a new Hero Skin for the Shaolin: the Monkey King Wukong. Additionally, players can snag a free Event Pass that unlocks a new ornament, battle outfit, and mood effect. No extra charge, just added bling for your warriors.

Year 7 Season 3: Armor, Hero Fests, and More

But that’s not all. This phase of Year 7 Season 3 is also laying down new armor variations and featuring Hero Fests. These special weeks let players test drive a Hero for free, and if they dig it, buy it at a discounted rate. Hero Fests are planned for the Shaolin, Zhanhu, and Aramusha. A new execution move will launch at the start of each Hero Fest, and get this—Zhanhu’s Hero Fest also heralds the return of the Zhanhu’s Gambit game mode, which will be accessible from November 23-30.
