Smurfomix’s Magical Enhancements and Unexpected Alliance with Gargamel

For Gamescom 20023, Microids and IMPS have unveiled an exciting trailer for their upcoming 3D adventure/platform game, The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone. The video gives players a sneak peek into Smurfomix’s enhancements and a major plot twist: Gargamel, the notorious enemy of the Smurfs, as an ally in the game.

Gargamel Joins the Adventure

In a surprising turn of events, Gargamel finds himself facing a threat more potent than himself and proposes a temporary truce with the Smurfs. This alliance adds a fresh layer to the story, opening portals between worlds and promising novel character interactions.

Exciting Upgrades and Gameplay

Players will embark on a thrilling adventure, collecting Flora Gems to boost Smurfomix’s stats. The discovery of rare substances like StickAll, CatchAll, and PushAll adds unique powers to Smurfomix, enabling more potent shots, hindering enemies, and breaking through barriers.

About The Smurfs 2: The Prisoner of the Green Stone

Handy Smurf’s revolutionary invention, SmurfoMix, lacks the key ingredient Green Stone, in the clutches of Gargamel. A mission to retrieve the stone leads to an explosion, scattering its fragments throughout the Cursed Land. This event releases Stolas, an evil entity aiming to unleash terror.

A team of four iconic Smurfs – Handy, Brainy, Dimwitty, and Storm – must set out to save the Cursed Land. The game features dynamic gameplay with exploration, platforming, and intense combat, all enhanced by SmurfoMix. Gargamel’s teleporters assist players in exploring three brand new regions.

Embark on a Co-op Adventure

Players can team up with friends or family in co-op mode, collect resources to improve Smurfomix, and delve into an adventure set in a well-crafted, colorful universe.

Developed by OSome Studio, The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone will release on November 2nd, 2023, in Europe for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The retail version will be available on November 14th in North America.
