Genopanic: Defend Against Aggressive Alien Mutants in Exciting Adventure Platformer on PC

Genopanic, a captivating adventure platformer developed by Mobirate, is set to combat aggressive alien mutants on Windows PC through Steam on October 23, 2023. Building on the success of its predecessor, Space Expedition, which has garnered over 1 million downloads on mobile devices, the atmospheric pixel art platformer is now available for free on Steam, serving as a prequel to Genopanic and generating excitement for the upcoming sequel.

A Mysterious Cosmic Adventure

In Genopanic, players will embark on an eerie journey through the desolate corridors of the SIMBIRSK space station. Accompanied by a friendly AI pup named LAIK and the ship’s mischievous cat-girl AI, VOLGA, they will unravel the dark secrets that led to the station’s destruction, while piecing together a sinister non-linear narrative. Along the way, players will rescue both adorable yet terrifying creatures of benign nature and confront vicious mutants of alarming proportions. To survive these encounters, they must wield a range of weapons, including swords, gravity guns, flamethrowers, and more. The ultimate goal is to defeat merciless bosses and escape from this horrific hell hole.

Time-Bending Prequel: Space Expedition

Before diving into Genopanic, players can venture into the past with Space Expedition. This prequel takes place on the ZARYA station, situated on the planet Spectr. As players explore the station, they will unravel its dark secrets while searching for survivors. Solving puzzles and battling violent monsters are essential tasks to secure their escape from the planet’s grasp. The PC version of Space Expedition, available for free today on Steam, features improved controls, Steam Achievements, and optimizations specifically tailored for PC gamers.

Immersive Interconnected Worlds

Anton Belov, Co-founder of Mobirate, highlights the immersive experience of the interconnected worlds in these two games, despite being nearly a decade apart. In Genopanic, players can delve deeper into the fates of the characters from Space Expedition and uncover more about the events that unfolded on the planet Spectr. By immersing themselves in the brand new Steam port of the first game, players can anticipate the merger of classic platformer elements with a haunting storyline that offers multiple endings later this year.

Language Support and Availability

Genopanic is scheduled to launch on Windows PC via Steam on October 23rd, 2023, supporting multiple languages, including English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Polish.
