Developer Swing Swing Submarine (Seasons after Fall, Tetrobot and Co.) and concept artist Simon “Hutt” T have announced ‘GRAAHL: Of Feather and Grit’, a narrative strategy game that can be played by one-to-four players. Travel to unknown territories, meet their odd inhabitants, gather crew members and collect resources in the rush to claim a part of an uncharted archipelago that has emerged from the clouds.
Play Solo or Grab a Friend: choose a sky captain from a selection of 4 adventurers and old friends, each one of them with unique skills, unique ways to lead discussions and abilities to handle critical situations.
Travel and Survive: explore the islands, talk to its inhabitants, make friends or enemies and survive unexpected events. Players will need to keep their crew members motivated and look for resources because this will be a difficult trip.
The Power of Replayability: success and failure can take many forms. Each new game generates new events and stories between the players and the game word.
‘GRAAHL: Of Feather and Grit’ is the first installment of a brand new ‘GRAAHL’ franchise, a game series that will mix dusty sci-fi, tons of colorful characters, emergent gameplay and procedurally generated stories. “This is just the beginning”, said William David, co-founder of Swing Swing Submarine. “We know where it starts but we don’t know where it ends.”
