The holidays came early for Heroes War: Counterattack players as the zombie-infested turn-based mobile RPG, from developer and publisher Com2uS, launched a major update that debuts Guild Raids. Players this month will be rewarded with in-game items, a revamped equipment system, and can also expect seasonal-themed events later in December. The newest turn-based zombie mobile game of 2020, Heroes War: Counterattack, is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Guild Raid is a cooperative mode at least eight guild members must band together to defeat a powerful and terrifying boss. With every raid a guild rank is calculated according to the total damage inflicted to the boss. After the battle is – hopefully – won and a guild rank is provided, various in-game items and guild points are rewarded to all participating members. Guild points can be exchanged for a “SSR Promotion Card” based on player’s guild ranking and personal contribution, which encourages players to be active parts of each raid rather than sit back and let the action unfold. Any guild member can join the Guild Raid fray every week from Monday to Saturday.
The holiday update also introduces a new Equipment Change System. Players no longer have to carry unwanted equipment but can instead exchange their undesirable items for better gear. The materials needed to use this system are only obtainable by participating in the Guild Raid.
Various special events are also coming to Heroes War: Counterattack in time for the holidays. These seasonal-themed events include:
- Examina’s Special Gift (Dec. 17 – Dec. 31) – Unlock various rewards after logging in to the game for 10 straight days during the event period. “Examina SD Portrait (Christmas special edition)” is rewarded when checking in for seven days.
- Christmas Wheel Event (Dec. 24 – Jan. 13) – Rewards are available by spinning the Christmas wheel using tickets earned from completing daily missions.
- Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (Dec. 24 – Jan. 3) – “Nadine SD Portrait (Christmas special edition)” and “Wreath Frame” are rewarded when logging in at least once during the event period. Special Hot Time Events are held during Dec. 25 – 27 and Jan. 1 – 3.
Heroes War: Counterattack is a turn-based mobile RPG set in a post-apocalyptic universe where players must fend off infected mutants, zombies and enemy factions in order to survive.
