NetEase have today released a massive update today on December 1st 5 am PST for their grand strategy mobile game Immortal Conquest. The new update focuses on changing up the global map to provide more strategic depth and looks to speed up the overall gameplay experience.
One exciting feature for players is the addition of islands and sea travel. The land route battle limitation has been removed, allowing players to fight and travel on land and sea. Islands are important strategic regions and can hold vital travel routes for armies. This addition allows players much more tactical variety when it comes to both battle and overall campaign strategy.
The new map will receive all new art assets including the new inclusions of sea areas, wharfs, sea travel lanes. With an all-new landscape to fight over, players will have to research their options carefully and plan accordingly.
The new map is heavily inspired by Europe and the Mediterranean regions, boasting previously unseen variety in landscapes. The main victory objective centralizes to Rome as the main victory point, changing it from the previous objective of Delphi.
The overall map has decreased in size in order to add a level of tension to the gameplay, as well as improving the overall game speed and value of each plot of capturable land.
