Korean developer Pearl Abyss made waves at their annual Heidel Ball community event, unveiling major upcoming updates for Black Desert Mobile. Slated for a September release, the Land of the Morning Light expansion promises a fresh and expansive experience. In addition, Adventurers can look forward to the Awakened Woosa class, Choryeong, releasing on September 26th. A new concept of Season Characters was also introduced, with immediate availability.
Expansion Explores Korea’s Joseon Dynasty
Land of the Morning Light is more than just a regular update; it’s the most sizable expansion yet for Black Desert Mobile. The content opens up a new region inspired by Korea’s Joseon Dynasty. Players will navigate story quests rooted in traditional Korean folklore, explore awe-inspiring landscapes, and face challenging world bosses. This expansion is an open invitation to both veteran and newbie Adventurers, offering the option to choose the Land of the Morning Light as their initial region.
Meet Choryeong: The Angel of Death Arriving September 26th
Choryeong, the Awakened form of Woosa, is set to hit the game on September 26. Originating from the Land of the Morning Light, this new class specializes in melee and mid-range combat. Choryeong has the unique ability to summon death flowers, effectively blocking enemies and delivering explosive damage.
Rapid Growth with Season Characters
Effective immediately, Black Desert Mobile welcomes the concept of Season Characters. These characters will enjoy accelerated growth, earning contribution points at a quicker pace compared to regular characters. Exclusive rewards can be unlocked through Season Pass quests, including the high-level Chaos Gear and Chaos Accessories. Players can create one Season Character per Family until the server maintenance on September 19th.
Quality of Life Gets a Boost on September 12th
Come September 12th, Black Desert Mobile will also introduce several quality-of-life upgrades:
- Streamlined Quests: Daily rewards are now easier to attain. Adventurers need to complete just one Black Spirit Quest and one Guild Quest per day. This is a change from the previous requirement of three each.
- Easier Access to Hadum and Chaos: The Holy Vial of Light requirement will be waived off for Tier 1 buffs and reduced for Tier 2 and Tier 3 buffs.
- Boss Rush Upgrades: Alternate characters from a player’s Family can now join the Boss Rush missions for a set number of times.
- Character Copy Feature: Contribution points from gear or leveling up can now be shared with alternate characters, making gameplay more flexible.
These updates promise to enhance gameplay experience across the board, delivering both new content and quality-of-life improvements.
