As part of a free update available to all players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC starting July 26th, with the Nintendo Switch version coming soon, the Creators Hub brings an exciting new feature that allows players to share their unique and impressive vehicle designs with the global gaming community.
Exploring the Creators Hub
Upon accessing the Creators Hub menu, players are welcomed into the “Depot,” a curated collection showcasing the hottest and most popular vehicles created by LEGO 2K Drive players worldwide. Here, players can instantly access the Most Upvoted and Most Downloaded creations, providing an excellent starting point for inspiration and discovery.
Encouraging Creativity and Sharing
The Creators Hub is designed to encourage creativity and collaboration among players. Its various features empower players to browse and explore the ever-growing selection of uploaded creations from their fellow gamers. Key features include:
1. Filtered Browsing: By switching to the Browse tab, players can explore vehicles categorized by different terrains, such as Street, Off-Road, and Water vehicles. Moreover, they can view vehicles uploaded by their 2K Account Friends or previously downloaded or upvoted creations.
2. Vast Search Capabilities: The Creators Hub offers numerous search options to make the exploration process seamless. Players can sort vehicles alphabetically, by upload date, total upvotes, total downloads, or the total number of bricks used to construct the vehicle. Additionally, they can search using the creator’s 2K Account Name or a unique vehicle Share Code number.
3. Expanding Your Collection: When players come across a vehicle they admire, they can simply hit the “Download” button to add it to their personal Garage. The Garage serves as a central hub for managing the vehicles acquired from the Creators Hub, allowing players to organize their downloads efficiently and choose their favorites for the ultimate driving experience.
4. Sharing Your Creations: Aspiring designers can proudly showcase their creative prowess by uploading their personally crafted vehicles to the Creators Hub. Each submission undergoes a moderation process before being shared with the LEGO 2K Drive community, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of player-created vehicles. Players can upload up to 30 vehicles to the Creators Hub, with the option to swap older creations for new ones should they wish to continue sharing their latest designs.
