The collaboration brings forth the highly anticipated Venom pinball games, which will be showcased at Stern Pinball’s official booth (#3721) and the popular Stern Pop-up Arcade at the Marriott Marquis from July 19th to July 23rd.

Stern Pinball, Inc., renowned for their cutting-edge pinball machines, has teamed up with Marvel to introduce an extraordinary collection of pinball games centered around one of Marvel’s most notorious characters. Venom, an alien symbiote that forms a bond with various hosts, including the well-known Eddie Brock, first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man comic book series in the 1980s. With its striking appearance and unique abilities, Venom quickly gained recognition and popularity among Marvel fans.

The new Venom pinball games offer players an immersive experience in the chaotic Marvel Universe of this iconic antihero. Featuring more than 20 characters, including Eddie Brock, Flash Thompson, Gwen Stacy, and various versions of Spider-Man, the games encapsulate the mayhem and thrill associated with Venom. The main objective is to prevent Venom’s arch enemy, Carnage, from collecting Codices to awaken Knull, the God of the symbiotes. Players must navigate through Carnage’s army of symbiotes and the Infected to save the world from impending doom.

In the Venom pinball games, players assume the role of Venom and choose a host to bond with at the start of each game. This choice dramatically alters the gaming experience both physically and digitally. The playfield is equipped with vertical pinball lock symbiote containment vessels on both sides, enhancing the action-packed gameplay as balls are rapidly locked and released. The dynamic playfield features mechanically changing pathways, such as the Agro-Lab and Life Foundation, allowing players to explore various shots. Engaging gameplay elements include bashing a custom sculpted Carnage captive ball back into the Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane and encountering surprise Doppelganger attacks, revealing three uplift targets that create chaos.

The visual appeal of the Venom pinball games is further elevated by the captivating hand-drawn comic book style artwork created by the esteemed artist Jeremy Packer, known as Zombie Yeti. Each host choice is accompanied by a unique selection of music styles during gameplay, with over a dozen tracks composed by GRAMMY Award-winning musician Mark Tremonti.

Stern’s award-winning Insider Connected™ system is seamlessly integrated into the Venom pinball games.
