ESEA annouces there 2018 Mountain Dew League Allstar game!
We’ve almost completed a whole season of MDL action, and this season we’re giving you, the fans, a chance to vote for your favorite players to participate in the first Mountian Dew League All-Star game! ESEA will choose the first 20 players and it’s up to the community to decide the final 10.
The MDL All-Star game will take place on Thursday, April 12th. An ESEA poll will be created with all 20 finalists and the top 10 players receiving votes will participate in the All-Star game. The two players with the most votes will be nominated as captains for the event.
The format for the event will be a live captain draft on Thursday, April 12th at 5:30 PM PDT with a best-of-three matchup played directly after. To add a bit more fun to the format, the fans will also get a chance to vote for the maps that will be played in the best-of-three. The winners of the All-Star game will take home $1,000 each and the second place finishers will each take home $250.
