Classic Modes and Realism Mode: A Glimpse into Men of War II
During the open beta, players will have the chance to explore two different modes: Classic Modes and Realism Mode. Classic Modes, a highly-requested feature from the community, offer a multiplayer experience reminiscent of previous Men of War games. Players can select their preferred nation and gain immediate access to all of that nation’s units for each match. The gameplay does away with battalions and echelons, instead allowing players to call in their forces based on individual unit timers and their own pool of resources.
On the other hand, Realism Mode provides a fresh and challenging experience. It offers a higher chance of disabling and capturing enemy vehicles, reduced visual cues regarding the visibility and health of units, more limited weapon fire ranges, and various other gameplay changes.
Community-Driven Development
The Final open Beta is the result of feedback from thousands of players who participated in the previous two public tests. The developers carefully considered suggestions and critiques on everything from unit balance to optimization improvements. As a result, the current Beta version closely mirrors the full release experience, with additional features, content, and modes set to be included at launch.
