Bedtime Digital Games’ sophomore title will release on PC in September, with Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 versions to follow later in the year. New ‘music video’ trailer also unveiled.
Bedtime Digital Games has announced today that its upcoming musical adventure, Figment, will launch on Nintendo Switch later this year – and unveiled a brand new trailer to celebrate the news.
The game will also be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, following its initial release on PC this September.
Figment is a whimsical adventure set in the recesses of the human mind. Nightmarish creatures have arrived, spreading fear wherever they go. As Dusty, the mind’s former voice of courage, you’ll fight the nightmares and solve an array of puzzles. As Dusty gets back to his old self, he can help the mind to face its fears.
But Figment is not just a game; it’s also a fully-fledged musical, performed by the game’s cast of nightmarish characters as Dusty traverses around the game world. Figment’s latest trailer takes the form of a music video and showcases The Plague Song – both in-game, and as performed by composer Niels Højgaard Sørensen in the studio.
“We’re really pleased to announce Figment for the Nintendo Switch,” said creative director Jonas Byrresen. “We feel the platform is a perfect match for Figment’s whimsical world, its intuitive combat mechanics, and its hours of puzzle-filled storytelling.”
