Nexon Korea Corp. recently announced the latest event story, “Get Set, Go!,” for their popular subculture game, Blue Archive. Developed by subsidiary company Nexon Games, this update expands the game’s narrative and introduces new content for players to enjoy.
The event story takes players on a journey through the high-profile Kivotos Halo Festival, where they will discover the hopes, aspirations, and challenges faced by the participating students. In addition to the compelling narrative, the update includes the Dice Race event, allowing players to move around the track using dice, earning valuable rewards such as Eligma, Hasumi (Track)’s Eleph, and other prizes.
Three new student characters are also introduced in the update, adding depth and diversity to the game. Yuuka (Track), a Mystic Striker from Millennium, possesses an EX Skill that allows her to move to a targeted location while gaining a barrier proportional to her healing. She also summons a flag at that location, relocating three allies to the flag and providing them with a barrier proportional to her healing. Mari (Track), another Mystic Striker hailing from Trinity General School, features an EX Skill that restores the HP of allies within a circular area, excluding herself.
Hasumi (Track), a Striker from Trinity General School, can be obtained during the event. Her EX Skill inflicts damage on a single enemy proportional to her ATK, with the potential to increase damage by 30% per Cost when spending up to two additional Costs.
The update also introduces Goz, a new Total Assault raid boss. As a one-animatronic show at the Slumpia theme park, Goz challenges players with his large health pool and devious nature, requiring a well-thought-out strategy to defeat him.
To celebrate the update, Nexon is offering rewards to players who pre-registered for the event, including 1,200 Pyroxenes and one 10-Recruitment Ticket. Furthermore, a special login event called “Cheer On! Arona’s Special Bonus!” will run until Tuesday, May 16th. Players who log in to the game during this period will receive a daily reward of 100 Pyroxenes and a 3-Star Field Day Rest Tent bonus reward on the seventh day.
With the addition of new characters, events, and a challenging raid boss, Nexon’s Blue Archive update “Get Set, Go!” promises to provide players with an engaging and immersive gaming experience.
