Outplay Entertainment’s latest tower defence title, CASTLE CREEPS TD, has now surpassed five million downloads

Outplay’s critically acclaimed tower defence game, Castle Creeps TD, has smashed through the five million download milestone less than seven months after launch. Upon release in January, Castle Creeps TD received significant featuring in the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, which propelled the game to the #1 spot in the strategy games charts in over 60 countries.

Expressing his delight at the success of Castle Creeps TD, Richard Hare, the co-founder and President of the company said: “Castle Creeps TD’s hitting this download milestone so quickly is testament to the incredible quality of the game and clearly demonstrates the ongoing global popularity of the tower defence genre.”

Players of the game must recruit and level up mighty Heroes, fortify their defences, and lead troops to victory in battles against vicious warlords unlike those seen in any other tower defence game! The battles feature fast-paced, white-knuckle action as players strive to build, enhance and repair enemy-splatting Towers and advance through the game with powerful Tower upgrades and new Heroes.

The rich, ongoing storyline, written by acclaimed fantasy author, James L. Sutter, unfolds across 108 explosive levels featuring hundreds of enemies, stunning 3D graphics and special effects and accompanied by heart-pounding music and sound effects.
