Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced the launch of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC, a thoughtful remaster of one of the most popular PAC-MAN games of all time. Originally released in 1999, PAC-MAN WORLD was the legendary character’s debut in a 3D platforming game. With the power of modern platforms, PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC delivers a completely enhanced version of the experience with full-screen HD visuals, gameplay refinements, and new features. The title is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via STEAM, and Nintendo Switch in a standard edition as well as a limited edition that includes a Chrome Noir PAC-MAN CHOGOKIN figure plus in-game skin.
PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC delivers an HD-enhanced experience with gameplay improvements and new features for more intuitive play. The game content has been expanded with multiple modes including Quest Mode, a Maze Mode that brings classic PAC-MAN gameplay to 3D mazes, and Original Mode, an unlockable recreation of the original game’s visual aesthetic. In the main Quest Mode experience, players use a variety of attacks and abilities, including powerups, as they dodge Ghosts and other baddies, solve environmental puzzles, and collect items through six exciting worlds of Ghost Island, each featuring multiple levels and a unique boss battle challenge.
