Hold onto your shells, gamers! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe drops its sixth and final wave for the Booster Course Pass DLC on November 9. This means you’ll have 96 courses to flex your drifting skills, doubling the base game’s catalog. Talk about going full throttle!

Cups and Courses Unveiled

This last wave rolls in with two cups: the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup. Each of these brings four nostalgia-packed courses from titles like Super NES, Nintendo GameCube, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Mario Kart Tour. Here’s the lowdown:

Acorn Cup

  • Tour Rome Avanti: Ever wanted to drift around Rome’s historic spots? Now’s your chance!
  • GCN DK Mountain: Watch out for falling boulders and swaying bridges in this jungle raceway.
  • Wii Daisy Circuit: Cruise through a seaside resort, but don’t get too lost in the views.
  • Piranha Plant Cove: Get ready for an underwater challenge complete with Thwomps and sharp turns.

Spiny Cup

  • Tour Madrid Drive: Get your engines roaring in the streets of Madrid but watch out for soccer balls!
  • 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World: Bundle up and navigate through icy caves and cold waters.
  • SNES Bowser Castle 3: Show who’s boss by gliding over lava pools in this classic track.
  • Wii Rainbow Road: Try not to fall off this colorful, guardrail-free course. You’ve been warned!

New Faces on the Starting Line

You’ll be seeing more than just familiar tracks. Diddy Kong and Funky Kong are now part of the roster. Plus, Pauline and Peachette are also gearing up to take the wheel.

Bonus Content

Those rocking the Booster Course Pass will snag 16 additional Mii Racing Suits, with a special Daisy Racing Suit up for grabs via any Daisy amiibo. The new Music Player feature rolling out will keep your race vibes going even when you’re in the pit stop.

How to Access the New Wave

You can grab all this goodness at no extra cost with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Alternatively, the Booster Course Pass is also available as a separate purchase in the Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store.

No cap, the Booster Course Pass may be crossing its final lap, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe still has plenty of juice to keep you on the edge of your seat. Get ready to set new lap records!
