New Hero Enters the Fray

Passtech Games, in collaboration with NACON, has dropped a game-changing update for their early access title, Ravenswatch. The highlight of this update? The introduction of a new playable character, Sun Wukong. Hailing from the depths of Chinese literature, the Monkey King leaps into action, wielding his legendary staff and bringing unique game mechanics to the table. Players can now experiment with a fresh stance system and a refined parrying technique, spicing up the strategic combat.

Matchmaking Made Easy

Gone are the days of solo slogs and random team-ups. The update introduces a highly-anticipated matchmaking feature, seamlessly connecting online players worldwide. With a few clicks, gamers can now team up based on their preferred difficulty level, ensuring a more cohesive and challenging experience.

Revamped Difficulty System

In an effort to streamline gameplay, Ravenswatch has overhauled its difficulty system. The notorious Nightmare levels have been restructured into five major stages, aligning perfectly with the new matchmaking system to reduce wait times and enhance player engagement.

Balanced Challenges and Fixes

Passtech Games hasn’t just stopped at adding features; they’ve fine-tuned the game’s balance as well. Adjustments have been made to how enemies and challenges scale with the number of players, ensuring a fair fight regardless of team size. This update also incorporates various fixes and improvements, a result of the ongoing collaboration between the development team and the player community.

Limited Time Offer

To celebrate the update, Ravenswatch is available with a 10% discount on Steam until November 21. It’s the perfect opportunity for gamers to join Sun Wukong’s ranks and battle the Nightmares at a bargain.

Looking Ahead

Currently in early access on PC, Ravenswatch is a roguelike adventure game that supports both solo and co-op play for up to four players. With eight heroes and the first two chapters already playable, Passtech Games promises regular updates leading to the official 2024 release. Gamers can expect a new hero and a third chapter, with eventual launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
