Hunt Your Favorite Streamers and Win Up to $30,000!
Do you think a normal battle royale match is tense? Imagine how tense the action would be with a cash prize on the line against the whole world. That is what NetEase is planning for December 17th with its popular battle royale game Rules of Survival, which is currently ranked the most download App Store game in multiple countries. The developers are holding the massive global ‘Hunt The Steamer’ Event whereby players will pit themselves against steamers from around the world in a 24-hour event.
NetEase is collaborating with 30 of the most popular battle royale streamers from across the globe, including the likes of DrDisrespect (The Esports Industry Awards’s 2017 Streamer of the Year), LIRIK (One of the top DayZ and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds streamer), and AnomalyXd (the most mysterious FPS streamer in the world). The streamers selected are from every corner of the world from America to Asia. With a total of $30,000 up for grabs in the form of $100 bounties, players can win big if they’re skilled on the battlefield!
The global game event will start on Pacific Standard Time at 12:00 AM and ends on 11:59 P.M. This gives players a whole day to win some money and defeat streamers multiple times. But remember, up to 119 players will be trying to claim that bounty. Fighting for that chance will be as brutal and fun-filled as it sounds.
If you wish to join this adrenaline-filled fight on December 17th, the rules are very simple. First, log in to Rules of Survival when the event is live. Then, find out which sever (US, EU, Asia) the streamer is playing on and which option they’re choosing (Solo, Duo, or Squad). Finally, take them out in-game! Every streamer taking part in the event will be wearing Pumpkin-shaped helmets to signal their status. There will be only one influencer per game, so you’ll need to be quick if you want the bounty.
The skilled few to take down a streamer will be entered into a lottery to win $100. Alongside the lottery, players will receive 1,000 gold coins for each successful kill. If you are one of the lucky winners, you will receive an email in your RoS inbox from the RoS Operations Team. Keep an eye on your mailbox if you were able to take out an streamer!
